TinyTalk Kids (“TinyTalk,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website tinytalkkids.com and related mobile applications (collectively, the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when parents and children use our family communication platform.

1. Who this policy applies to

TinyTalk Kids is designed for families. Parent or guardian accounts create and manage child accounts. We do not knowingly allow children to register independently without verifiable parental consent.

2. Information we collect

  • Parent account information: name, email address, login credentials, and optional profile details.
  • Child profile information: nickname, age range, PIN or access settings, and content created by the child within the Service.
  • Communications: messages, emojis, photos, drawings, homework images, and AI-assisted conversation logs within family chat spaces.
  • Device and usage data: device type, app version, IP address, push notification tokens, log data, and feature usage statistics.
  • Payment-related information: if applicable, billing details processed by third-party payment providers (we do not store full payment card numbers on our servers).

3. How we use information

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
  • Enable parent–child messaging, homework features, and daily reports.
  • Generate AI-assisted responses and emotional insights under parent-controlled settings.
  • Send service notifications, security alerts, and support messages.
  • Monitor abuse, enforce our Terms of Service, and protect users.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

4. Children’s privacy

We treat children’s information with heightened care. Child accounts are linked to a parent account, and parents control permissions, data access, and deletion. We do not sell children’s personal information. We do not display third-party advertising to children within the Service.

5. AI processing

When enabled by a parent, message content may be processed by AI systems to provide suggested replies, summaries, homework feedback, or emotional trend reports. AI outputs are assistive only and do not replace parental judgment. Parents may disable or limit AI features where available.

6. Sharing of information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only:

  • With service providers who help us operate the Service (hosting, analytics, push notifications, AI APIs), under contractual confidentiality obligations.
  • Within your family account as configured by the parent (e.g., parent viewing child messages).
  • When required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
  • In connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, with notice where required by law.

7. Data retention

We retain information for as long as necessary to provide the Service and fulfill the purposes described in this policy. Parents may request deletion of a child profile and associated content through account settings or by contacting us.

8. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information, including access controls and encrypted connections where appropriate. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

9. International transfers

If you use the Service from outside the country where our servers are located, your information may be transferred to and processed in other countries with different data protection laws.

10. Your rights and choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

  • Access, correct, or delete personal information.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing.
  • Withdraw consent where processing is consent-based.
